Anyone interested in learning or improving their face-off skills; please see below flyer on a clinic coming to Seattle. Face-off clinics/camps are rare to find, so please take advantage of this opportunity!! (Open to grades 5-12)
Face-off's are a huge part of the game. At the high school level, this is your ticket to possibly making the varsity team. In order to achieve our goals at the high school level, we will need our face-off play to excel. This is a great opportunity for our HS players and our youth players coming up!!
At Tahoma we produce lacrosse players and all players are expected to play wherever the team needs them! Attack-men, middies and even long poles are strongly encouraged to attend.
On Sunday, December 14th at Arena Sports SODO in Seattle, FaceOff Club will host a Winter Clinic and Regional Qualifier Series (RQS) event that will serve attending players as both a preseason training opportunity under the world-class instruction of professional players and experts, and also a chance to qualify for the 8th National FO Combine next January. Players will benefit greatly from advanced instruction and training by the best in the business as well as many focused repetitions against peers of the same ability and competitive level. This event is open to players in grades 5-12.
Mikey Giannopulos of Issaquah (All-State in 2013/2014) has won our premier event, the National FaceOff Combine, each of the last two years. His success in our program and his performance with WA power Issaquah has garnered him a Division I NCAA scholarship with the storied Georgetown Hoya program. We've had several other Washington players in our programs throughout the years and are very pleased to be working with many more of them next month. The Pacific NW has a density of talent and top coaching and we are motivated to enhance your lacrosse landscape with the resource of development for your players in this specialty. All WA HS and youth coaches are welcome to attend our event free of charge to become familiar with our training curriculum for your benefit.
Having your FO specialists attend this event will make a major difference in your season's success. Your offense will have the ball much more and you'll not be on defense as often.

Parents, Athletes, Fans and Friends of Tahoma Lacrosse,
As most of you are aware, Ravensdale Park Foundation (RPF) is right at the finish line with the new fields and park improvements at Ravensdale. The estimated completion date is December 5th. Unfortunately, due to many circumstances beyond their control, they are now projected to be about $375,000 over the original budget. The group has built a wonderful park that will be enjoyed by our community for many years to come. We are teaming with the RPF to ask you is to consider contributing a one-time cash donation to the Park or assist in either selling field banner sponsorships and/or collecting one-time donations. Our Tahoma Lacrosse organization will receive 20% credit (up to $250 per banner) for each sponsorship banner sold. Any one time donations are not included as part of the credit process. The heavy lifting has been done so please won’t you help RPF finish the job! The Ravensdale Park Foundation (501c3 non-profit) is in the process to try and secure a “bridge loan” to allow them time to raise the needed funds. RPF has a goal to raise $100,000. It sounds and looks like a lot, but with the strength and generosity of all families within our community, a $50 one-time tax deductible donation and 50 Banner Sponsorships could raise $150,000. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Here is the information on the fundraising effort:
Every cent donated goes to funding the Park. The money raised will do two things. First, it will help with the budget shortfall created by construction delays, permitting delays, and change orders. Should any surplus of funds be raised they will go into the park improvement fund that we are setting up. We will be good stewards of the park by creating a fund to continue to enhance the park.
There are a few ways to help.
A personal one-time tax deductible donation
Solicit a one-time donation from a Business or others
Solicit a Sponsorship banner from a Business. 25% of the total amount of the Sponsorship will be credited back Tahoma Lacrosse.
We know asking for money on top of your player’s fees is asking a lot. As we stated before, every cent of your donation will go to the Park. We ask you to seek out local, State and National businesses for help. If you have a lead on a business but do not have the time to check it out, please let us know so we can follow up. Every donation is tax deductible. Attached is a flyer that spells out how to donate. All the youth sports group users are participating in this fundraiser. They are Rock Creek Select Baseball, MV Pony Baseball, MV Soccer, MV Football and of course, Tahoma Lacrosse. Let’s show everyone how proud and excited we are to have new, first class facilities to train and play on.
