I’ve been a member of the club since 2007 and President for the past year. It is crucial we continue to be a transparent organization, grow the program, and work within a balanced budget.
Thank you for your consideration and support as president
I am very interested in getting further involved and love Tahoma Lacrosse. We have two children and my son has been playing for 3 years now and will join the 5/6 team this upcoming Fall. My wife is a middle school teacher at Summit Trail and we love our community. Please consider me for the Tahoma Lacrosse VP Position,
I have been the Treasurer for the past year, and previously served as the Secretary for the Club. Our two sons have been involved in Tahoma Lacrosse for 8 years and we have a strong love for the game, the Club, and the kids and families involved.
This year I've worked at making sure we set up and stick to a budget that will allow us to continue to grow long term, without having to rely on reserves year after year. We have done a good job working together to keep spending within our budget, and I look forward to seeing this trend continue. I also worked on setting up our recordkeeping to align directly with our budget to provide quick and easy reporting and updates to the board on a monthly basis. My experience as a bookkeeper for many small businesses makes this position a good fit, and I look forward to more fine tuning and another successful year with Tahoma Lacrosse!
My son Eric is a freshman on the JV team and has been playing for Tahoma Lacrosse since he was in second grade. Serving as secretary would be an opportunity for me to give back to the club. Having volunteered with the Boy Scouts for over ten years as a scoutmaster and committee member, I understand the need to provide positive recreational experiences for our youth. I would welcome the chance to work with the board that has done a great job of providing an environment for the players to learn sportsmanship, develop athletically, and grow to love the game of lacrosse.
My name is Rebecca Landrey and I am interested in continuing as the Logistics Coordinator. As a mother of four, two within the Tahoma Lacrosse program, I know the importance of making sure that practice schedules are set and that all parties involved know where they need to be and when.
I think that my experience as a mother and knowing the importance of good field times for our lacrosse players, aides me in being a good fit of this position. I have long wanted to get more involved with the lacrosse club and this is a great place for me to get started.
I thank you for your consideration for this position and look forward to continuing to helping out the club any way I can.
Boys Program Director
I've been the Logistics coordinator for past years and the Boys Program Director this past year. I would love to continue as the boys program director this year.
Boys Youth Coordinator
I have been the boys youth coordinator and would like to continue another year. I have been a part of the club since my oldest son started playing in the fifth grade and have taken the time to learn about the club and directions it has taken in that time frame. As he moves out of the youth program into the high school program, I’d like to see the continued growth of the youth program, as my youngest son has started to participate at the 3/4 level. I believe the youth program plays an instrumental part in growing and maintaining the membership and players that feed into the high school program and one of the important ways to accomplish this to assure that the players and family’s have an environment that keeps both excited about the game, and that they can learn and prepare themselves for a competitive his school career. I have served on multiple boards ranging from non profits and for profit organizations and understand the dynamics of that environment.
Girls Program Director
I have been with Tahoma Lacrosse for 12 years and had a part in creating the first Youth Girls team 5 years ago. I was a past board member so I am aware of how things work. I want to help grow the girls side of the sport so please consider me for Girls Program Director. Thank You.
I have been on the board as the equipment manager for the last year and I have really enjoyed my time serving Tahoma Lacrosse Club in that way. It’s been beneficial to myself and to my player to volunteer behind the scenes. I feel the 2nd year will flow more smoothly for me so I’d like to continue as the equipment manager.
I joined the board in the fall of 2017 as the fundraiser chair. To help make sure the club continues to have the financial support it needs to grow. I have two young sons and my oldest is currently playing on the 3/4 team. I want to do my part in making sure that this club will be around for years to come.
Girls Youth Director
My name is Lindsi Wolf, and I served as the girls youth director this past year and am wising to continue. I am interested in helping to keep the girls youth program alive and well and to see this program succeed and grow. I would also love to continue my involved with the program, and the sport.
I am currently on the new Tahoma Elementary PTO board, and participate in various other volunteer opportunities, so I am fully aware of the importance of volunteers and how much their duties are needed.
My daughter started out with the sport last year as a third grader, in the Cubs program after school. She then participated in the Skills clinic this past Fall, and loved it so much that she is currently on the 3/4 team.
We are learning so much about the sport, and are loving it as a family! We are fully involved, and committed, to the club and to the opportunities that it presents for the kids. My family wants to do everything we can to ensure that the program can continue.
