Returning for his 2nd Season as head coach at Tahoma, Jon started with the club as the 7/8A head coach for two successful seasons.
A New Jersey native, Jon Lefferts played NCAA Division I lacrosse for Rutgers University while earning a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. In addition to his athletic endeavors at Rutgers, he was an intern with the athletic department as well as an Executive Board member for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Following his senior year, Lefferts was brought onto the Rutgers Men’s lacrosse staff as an Assistant Coach.
Prior to Rutgers, Jon competed and won state titles in lacrosse, swimming and football at Moorestown High School, where he has been inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame.
He’s an ambassador of lacrosse who is not only passionate about coaching, but seeing athletes excel in their understanding and performance both on and off of the lacrosse field.
Parents are Elisabeth and Roger Lefferts and siblings are Sarah and Martha.
Returning for his 2nd Season as the defensive coach at Tahoma, Bob, a Virginia native, played NCAA Division I lacrosse for University of Maryland (Defense & LSM) achieving D1 finalist three times and winning the national title in 1975. Fun fact, CBS Sports featured Bob in Maryland’s nation-leading defensive unit- May 1979 during the televising of the Maryland- Johns Hopkins NCAA Division I championship game.
In addition to his athletic endeavors, Bob values education, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning many other academic achievement awards including the Margaret Carthy Award as the top graduate in 1979.
Prior to Maryland, Bob was a starter on the football, basketball and lacrosse teams, named top defenseman at University of Maryland National Lacrosse Camp, Lacrosse Team Captain and Most Valuable Player and named as one of the top five boy’s lacrosse players in the state

Personal and Professional
Retired GE Healthcare executive. Married 33 years. 21-year old daughter (SPU soccer player) and 19 year old son (2016 Skyline HS All State soccer and KingCo Defensive Player of the Year)
Steve is originally from Long Island, NY where he played HS ball at Smithtown High School East. (Smithtown HS East finished 13th in the country last season!!). Steve went on to play at the NCAA D1 level for Stony Brook University who also had a nice year finishing 18th in the nation. His senior year at Stony Brook, Steve was very honored to have been named a team captain. Coach McCabe played Mid-field for the Seawolves.
Coach McCabe began coaching at the youth level while still on Long Island and continued for many years after moving to San Diego in 2006. He has coached every age level from 1st grade through 8th grade and has helped at countless clinics/camps over the years from youth up through the high school level.
In the fall of 2015, Steve coached one of our 5/6 teams and had a great season. In addition to the regular league games, Steve also coached our boys at the "WA LOVE" jamboree and the Space Needle Shootout tournament in Tukwila.
Steve currently lives in Maple Valley with his wife Liz and his three children; Griffin, Lucas, and Baily

Randy has been a coach with Tahoma Lacrosse for several years.
After a successful career playing goalie for Cheshire HS (CT), Clark University (MA), Cheshire Collegiate/Post Collegiate Club and the old Connecticut Valley Lacrosse Club, Randy became involved with coaching at all levels of the sport.
On the college level, he was a graduate assistant at Washington and Lee University (VA) and then head coach of Quinnipiac in Connecticut. At the high school level he was an assistant with his home-town Cheshire squad as well as the head coach at Pope HS (GA) just north of Atlanta. On the youth level he has coached with Cheshire (CT) Youth Lacrosse, Chesterfield (VA) Youth Lacrosse, East Cobb County (GA) Youth Lacrosse, as well was with Tahoma on both the 3/4 and now 5/6 level. He has also coached at various camps/clinics in Connecticut, Virginia and Georgia.
He is currently US Lacrosse Level 1 certified and is working on Level 2.
